Little League® International understands that all its local leagues, volunteers, parents, and communities around the world are struggling through the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Leagues who purchase insurance through the chartering process utilize the AIG Insurance Program for Little League. This program is administered by Keystone Risk Managers LLC (“Keystone”) and is not an insurance program run through Little League directly. Little League International works with Keystone and AIG to help provide affordable coverage options for its local leagues. Little League International highly recommends that every local Little League program maintain their insurance coverage for the entirety of the policy year. Maintaining insurance prevents a gap in coverage and protects against potential risk and exposure to issues that still exist whether the league is active, or no games/practices are currently taking place. The current policy year will expire on December 31, 2021. We encourage all leagues to charter and enroll in the insurance program as well as pay their insurance premiums before the end of the year to assure the league’s coverage is effective as of January 1, 2022.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The following FAQs only apply to those leagues who utilize the AIG Insurance Program for Little League.
